We bring you simple and easy steps will enhance the beauty and health of your feet. You need to take proper care of your feet, washing and scrubbing them properly, moisturizing them on a regular basis, and so on. The need to keep your feet beautiful and healthy is obvious

• Dry them completely, especially between the toes to prevent fungal infections.

• when you apply the moisturiser, avoid putting it between your toes.

• Select appropriate shoes for your feet. Better buy in the evening when feet tend to be at their largest.

• Wear shoes made of leather or canvas - avoid synthetics. Sandals are good.

• Avoid wearing the same shoes repeatedly.

• If your skin is dry, apply cream or petroleum jelly to feet and heels, but avoid the area between your toes. If cream sits  in the crevices it can waterlog the skin and make it more susceptible to infection.

• Try not to cross your legs when you sit down. This can limit circulation.

• Home pedicure should be done once a week.  If you opt to go to a beautician, ensure that the instruments used are  sterilized/ cleansed with disinfectants.  But it’s always better to do it at home using your personal instruments.

If you don’t have enough time for all these, you can try another easy step. For this, all you need to have is lemon juice and paper towels. First clean your feet in lukewarm water using mild soap and pat it dry. Take a mixture of water and lemon in equal quantity. Dip the paper towel into the mixture and apply it to your feet. odour and also smoothens your feet.
