Queensland surfer Shane Willmott achieved worldwide fame after teaching his pet mice to surf. Now he's taught them a new skill: skateboarding. It was too cold in winter to take his mice to the beach to surf, so now the mice ride on tiny toy skateboards in a mouse-sized skate park in Willmott's backyard on the Australian Gold Coast. The pocket-sized daredevils even fly through a ring of fire.

'They love it,' Willmott told Rex Features. 'Mice are built to surf and skate because their centre of gravity is so low. When they do fall off, they want to get straight back on board.'
