There's always plenty to enjoy in France's most showbiz city, and never more so than during the Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off this year on May 14. Any trip to Cannes should start on the Promenade de la Croisette: a tree-lined two-kilometre stretch along the Mediterranean coastline, and the heart of all the city's action.
