The 'Land of the Pharaohs' beckons

The 481-feet high Great Pyramid, the largest on earth, was built by Pharaoh Khufu beginning 2550 BC and took around 20 years to complete. The 471-feet high Pyramid of Khafre was built by Pharaoh Khafre beginning 2520 BC and has in front of it the Sphinx. The last of the Great Pyramids, the Pyramid of Menkaure was built by Pharaoh Menkaure beginning 2490 BC and at 213 feet height is the smallest of the three.
