Style book at the MTV VMA 2012

This year's MTV Video Music Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, lacked controversy. The red carpet missed any big fashion splash, what with Lady Gaga staying away from the awards this year. White was the favorite pick for the evening, as singer Rihanna in backless slinky number and Taylor Swift in a J Mendel pantsuit sure turned heads. Nicki Minaj kept the tempo up in a eye-popping black beaded jumpsuit while Pink and Miley Cyrus flaunted their funky Mohawks.
