A well-known actress in the country, Shilpa Shetty gained international acclaim only after her grand showing and consequent win in the UK reality show Big Brother in 2007. She also won sympathy and lot of support after the brave face she put up when in the midst of the show she had to put up with a lot of racial attitude and comments from her fellow housemates in the show.
