This diet was created as an in-house weight loss program for General Motors employees and became a huge phenomenon in India. The diet consists of a week-long regimen, where you eat specific foods on each day. Day one requires consumption of only fruits, excluding bananas. On day two, only vegetables are allowed, with potatoes for breakfast. Day three is a combination of fruits and vegetables. Day four has a regimen of bananas, skim milk or yogurt, and GM soup (a water-based stew of onions, green peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, and celery).
