To go or not to go

You deserve to let you hair down and have fun after a year of hard work, but don't let your behaviour at the office Christmas party still be talked about in the New Year. Everyone deserves to have fun, but nobody wants to be the subject of office gossip!

Even though it's unlikely to be compulsory, attending the office party is a chance to show your boss you're a team player and you're happy to mix with your team in a social situation. Remember, wallflowers are often the ones who are overlooked for promotions. Plus, you've worked hard all year so you deserve to let your hair down and enjoy a nice meal or a drink on the company!

Do attend even if you don't think you'll be missed; your absence will be noted.
