Look closely and you might notice that this isn't your average female fashion model. Liu Xianping, a 72-year-old man from China, has shot to fame after photos of him modelling his granddaughter's fashion designs went viral. The grandfather posed in various outfits from the fashion store Yuekou for a joke, but soon, the pictures had been shared all around the world, and his granddaughter was experiencing record sales.

Ms Lv Ting told China Newsweek: "He picked up one piece and tried to give some advice on how to mix and match. We thought it was fun so we started shooting."

And it seems, Liu is enjoying his newfound talent: "Modelling for the store is helping my granddaughter and I have nothing to lose," he told China Newsweek.

"We were very happy on the day of the shooting. I’m very old and all that I care about is to be happy."

We'd be happy too, with pins like his! Take a look through the photos of Liu's modelling debut...
