Fashionistas made heads turn with vintage-inspired dresses and graphic prints, and models lit up the ramp in wedge heels, animal print scarves and chunky jewellery. We take a look at the hot trends in 2011:

High-waist trousers, drape-style maxis, peplum silhouettes and kaftans returned to the fashion scene with a glamorous makeover. Fashion fanatics also dressed in retro-inspired flared trousers, matched with chic tops and accessorised with animal print scarves or ribbons.

If that wasn't enough, celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Katie Holmes, Rihanna and our own 'desi bala' Deepika Padukone boosted the vintage-inspired wardrobe.
