The singer will receive the 'Always Next, Forever Now' Award at the second annual NewNowNext prize ceremony, which pays homage to role models within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, reports contactmusic.com.
The ceremony will be aired on US network MTV's gay-themed station Logo June 13.
