Equmen launches body-slimming undergarments for men
In a world of vanity and slim-seeking fashion goers, Equmen has launched a new line of body-slimming underwear for men.Equmen, a company based out of Sydney, Australia, has released a new line of t-shirts, briefs and trunks that the company claims will help support back and core muscles, improve posture, blood circulation and of course, will make the male form look slimmer.
According to the company's website, the products offer a "unique body-mapping system that builds physio taping techniques into every garment to reinforce and support the body's natural structure from the core."
The line was designed with input from physiotherapists and ergonomic consultants and will be hitting stores in the U.S. sometime in early 2009.
Ferragamo Launches New Line Of "Green" Handbags
The fashion world is turning to "green friendly" products to keep sales going and Italian designer Ferragamo is no different.
The luxury accessories and handbag designer has launched a new line of environmentally friendly bags called Eco Ferragamo. The new bags will be available in stores in the spring of 2009 and boast a leather tanning technique that results in metal-free colored leathers without pollutants and toxins.
According to WWD, the company uses dyes that are found in tree barks. The purses are also biodegradable and water resistant.
Ferragamo produces luxury shoes, leather goods accessories, fragrances and apparel for men and women. Environmentally-conscious shoppers are hoping the designer will soon spread the "green friendly" idea to other products the company offers.
