Accessorize or try a bikini sari when on holiday
Resort wear is not just about the sarong, shorts, t-shirt and wraparound. Fabrics also make a difference like the silk chiffon, crepe and silk lycra while lazing around during holidays. "Always go for resort wardrobe made with intelligent fabrics that are non-fussy, easy to maintain and extremely durable for a holiday, whether you're on land or sea," Narresh of designer duo Shivan-Narresh, known for the resort wear line, told IANS. "Don't try to go overboard with your oomph quotient while holidaying and opt for breezy silhouettes. Go for bright colours that cut strategically on the body," he added.
Shivan said, "A swimsuit, sarong, trapeze linen shirt and the bikini sari are perfect whether you are spending your time on a beach or in a bar." Cruise wear got prominence on the ramp at the last edition of the Lakme Fashion Week when models hit the ramp in outfits with tribal and digital prints, bohemian style jumpsuits, rompers and short dresses with multiple buttons.
