How to enjoy your spa massage
So you have fixed up an appointment for your first massage at a spa. It is a great way to relieve built up stress. But you may not be able to get the most out of your massage session if you spend the hour feeling uncomfortable on the massage table.
Start your distressing process by arriving at least 20 minutes before your actual appointment. That way you get time to catch up your breath and mentally prepare yourself for the experience ahead. It also allows your body to cool down.
Eat light at least an hour before your therapy, and then as you wait for your treatment to start you can request a light fruit-based drink to hydrate your before as a detoxifying massage can be dehydrating.
