5 Ways to Smooth Body
No long showers:
We are all for long baths with skin pampering oils but restrict your warm showers to ten minutes or less. While you are at it, don't go too hot with the water. Stick to luke warm- your skin loves it.
Exfoliate: Use a grainy scrub like Thymes Essential Body Scrub once a week in the shower. Occasionally replace it with a dry exfoliating regime outside the shower. We love Rodial Power Body Buff on days when we need extra help. The Nature's Co Hazelnut Sugar Body Scrub additionally moisturizes and leaves our skin smelling great.
Hair free: Soak yourself in warm water for a couple of minutes before reaching for the razor. And always use an extra moisturizing shave cream for the closest, easy shave. If you are up for a wax, do not moisturize your skin just before your appointment. Let your skin stay natural and moisturize after.
Oil up: Oiling before, after or in the shower- all work to give you the softest skin. Sesame oil is amongst the oils that are absorbed most easily into the skin. Our trick through the winter is to oil after shower, wait a couple of minutes to let the oil soak in and then head for a quick rinse to wash off excess oil. Towel dry yourself in dabbing motions and you're set.
Moisturize: On work days, moisturizing our skin is a luxury if we can make the time for it. To make the best of it always go for ones that smell and feel great. Hydrate your skin right after towelling off. The Body Jelly from Carol's Daughter is a treat to your skin. Don't forget your chest, neck, knees, elbows and feet.
